I’m a 2nd generation real estate broker (agent) and come from a family of real estate agents and investors. I’ve had my real estate license for almost two decades and been surrounded by the real estate business most of my life.
My mother Nadine Mitchell has been a Real Estate agent since 1984. After 5 years as a top agent at Royal LePage in Beaconsfield she started our real estate agency Vistacor Realty Group in 1989 which later became the Mitchell Group Inc.
My background is in media production, marketing and public relations.I’ve worked on and produced shows for A&E, Bravo!, Discovery Channel and PBS.
In Toronto I lead the marketing of the Directors Guild of Canada as their National Communications Manager and then back in Montreal as head of media relations at the Canadian Centre for Architecture.
Providing professional, personalized assistance in residential and commercial real estate transactions with additional attention, support and guidance for first time buyers. After all, it’s not just a house, it’s your home!
Residential real estate has been a passion of mine since my early teens. Whether I was looking for properties for myself, members of my family or friends, I have taken great pleasure in helping people find homes and investment properties as well as prepare their homes for sale.
Having purchased my first home in my mid-twenties, I recognize that it is an extremely exciting event in one’s life, but that it can also be very intimidating and stressful. I believe in providing first-time buyers with a positive experience where they feel supported and well guided. I am willing to invest extra time and effort to educate them in planning and executing the steps required to reach their dream of home ownership. I take the time to help clients analyze the costs associated with purchasing and maintaining a home and am dedicated to finding the perfect home for every client; one that they can comfortably afford and enjoy for many years to come.
I’ve been a real estate agent for almost 40 years in the West Island of Montreal. I was working as a teacher, had three young children and had started investing in real estate to make ends meet.
In 1984 I got my real estate license and went to work for Royal LePage in Beaconsfield, and quickly (and with a lot of hard work) became the office’s top listing agent. I loved the business and the people I met and decided that it was time to start my own real estate agency.
In 1989 I left Royal LePage and started Vistacor Realty Group which later became the Mitchell Group, with the goal of not only continuing to offer my clients the results they were looking for but as a place for like-minded agents who were there to really make a difference, a company to assist them in achieving their goals.
As a family-owned business we understand the needs of families, and look to put our personalized touch on the services we offer. We treat each and every client as if they are our only client. I’ve always felt that real estate is above all a people business and if we treat our clients with the respect they deserve and offer them a service that surpasses their expectations, we will always have clients now and in the future.
