I’ve been a real estate agent for almost 40 years in the West Island of Montreal. I was working as a teacher, had three young children and had started investing in real estate to make ends meet.
In 1984 I got my real estate license and went to work for Royal LePage in Beaconsfield, and quickly (and with a lot of hard work) became the office’s top listing agent. I loved the business and the people I met and decided that it was time to start my own real estate agency.
In 1989 I left Royal LePage and started Vistacor Realty Group which later became the Mitchell Group, with the goal of not only continuing to offer my clients the results they were looking for but as a place for like-minded agents who were there to really make a difference, a company to assist them in achieving their goals.
As a family-owned business we understand the needs of families, and look to put our personalized touch on the services we offer. We treat each and every client as if they are our only client. I’ve always felt that real estate is above all a people business and if we treat our clients with the respect they deserve and offer them a service that surpasses their expectations, we will always have clients now and in the future.
It’s how I’ve run our company and how we’ve grown in business for over 30 years, even when many other companies over the years have come and gone.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with literally hundreds (if not thousands) of clients and I bring to my work, that experience, those contacts and the dedication to making each client my only focus until their house is sold.
It’s the values I’ve instilled in our agents and in our company and we offer those same values to each client we’ve had the privilege of working with.
